There are three multiplexes in London all broadcasting to a similar (but not identical) area. They are all operated by three different consortiums each with slightly different policies. Additionally, whilst London has the most capacity it also the most in-demand area from potential service providers and it has some of the highest broadcast fees.
Whilst London is currently ‘full’ opportunities do arise from time to time and it is worth talking to the multiplexe operators / Folder Media if you have a desire to broadcast there. Listed below are the services and operators for each multiplex.
Greater London 1
The Greater London 1 multiplex is owned by CE Digital Ltd (a joint venture between Global Radio and Bauer Digital Radio).
The multiplex covers 9.8m adults (15+)

The Greater London 2 multiplex is owned by Switchdigital (London) Ltd (whose shareholders include UTV Radio Ltd and Carphone Warehouse Ltd).
The multiplex covers 9.8m adults (15+)
